Aegean Sea region in Turkey attractions

The Turkish resorts of the Aegean Sea are as famous as those of the Mediterranean Sea. They stretch from Fethiye to Izmir. These are Oludeniz, Marmaris, Bodrum, Kusadasi. Such ancient cities as Ephesus, Miletus and many other attractions are located there.

Bodrum is primarily known as a youth resort of Turkey. There are many discos and bars in the city. However, there you will also find some interesting attractions of other kind such as the ancient city of Halicarnassus and St. Peter`s Castle. Kos is in the immediate vicinity of Bodrum. There are also a lot of ancient attractions in this Greek island.

Fethiye and Marmaris resorts develop around Dalaman Airport. Fethiye, or rather its district of Oludeniz, is known for its Blue Lagoon. You can go paragliding there. The resort of Marmaris has both famous beaches and ancient attractions. From there you can go on a day trip to the Greek island of Rhodes.

Kusadasi resort is located south of Izmir. It is a developing resort and prices there are lower than in other well-known resorts. The ancient city of Ephesus is located in close proximity to Kusadasi.
