The beach and the embankment of Derbent are located on the shore of the Caspian Sea, in the north of the city. Most tourists come to Derbent for the sake of ancient sights; however, the city is transformed and becomes interesting not only for sightseeing tourism, but also as a place where you can swim in the sea.
