Simeiz is one of the most famous beach resorts in Crimea, however, the arrangement of its beach area raises some questions. All beaches in Simeiz are pebbly. At the entrance to the sea of most beaches, there are many large stones. It is not very convenient for families with children.
The most visited beach is located at the foot of the Diva Rock. Its length is only 100 meters. In high season, it is very crowded here. There are large stones at the entrance to the water, but thanks to this, the sea at the foot of the Diva has a beautiful azure color.
Chaotic development on the seashore in Simeiz has led that in many places hotels are built close to the surf zone. They block the beach area of Simeiz and prevent the creation of a long embankment with beautiful beaches.
A small embankment appeared a few years ago only in the coastal zone of the Pioneer sanatorium. It borders the area of the Semashko sanatorium. There are small pebble beaches: Ai-Panda and Semashko. If you go further along the shore, then there is a small beach near the coastal hotels, and further away is the Naryshkin stones Beach. This is the largest beach, but there are stones in the coastal zone here.
On the south side of the Diva Rock there is a tiny beach of the Yunost Sanatorium. Its building is also built close to the surf zone. A fairly large and comfortable pebble beach is located in the village of Katsiveli, but it is impossible to reach it on foot, you need to go by car.
There is a nudist beach at the foot of Mount Koshka among huge stones. This beach has been widely known in the "narrow circles" of naturism lovers since Soviet times. Unlike the nudist beach in Koktebel, it is hidden from prying eyes among the stones.
