The small lake Mokhovskoye is located 1 kilometer from the village of Myslovichi, near the northern shore of Lake Velje. At this point, the Great Valdai Trail descends from the top of Mount Ryzhokha and on the shore of Lake Mokhovsky there is one of the camp of the Great Valdai Trail. Tourists can set up tents here and stay overnight.
Lake Mokhovskoye is in a transitional state from the lake to the swamp. The shore of the lake is covered with moss for several tens of meters, along which you can approach the water. There is no risk of falling into a wormwood, but you can get your feet wet. The lake is unsuitable for fishing because of the difficulty of approaching the water`s edge.
On the shore of the lake there is the fourth of five camps on the Great Valdai trail, equipped for overnight tourists. It is called "The camp near the village of Myslovichi". This is the 41st kilometer of the trail. Not far from the camp there is one of the attractions of the trail – the Bridge over the beaver dam.
