Diva Rock is the most famous natural attraction of Simeiz. Some people consider it to be the same famous symbol of the Crimea as the Golden Gate in Koktebel or Ai-Petri Mountain in Yalta. Diva Rock on Simeiz Beach really looks very beautiful. You can climb to its top by a ladder cut into the mountainside.
Diva Rock rises above the sea waters near the most popular beach of Simeiz. It is pebbly, there are large stones at the entrance to the water, but thanks to this, the sea at the foot of the Diva has a beautiful azure color. From the beach you can walk to the rock. For this walk, you need to wear shoes, as the pebbles are gradually replaced by stones, which then pass the blockage of huge boulders between the Diva and Panea rocks.
Previously, a small Monk rock, 10 meters high, towered between the Diva and Panea rocks. It can be seen in old photographs of the early 20th century. During the earthquake of 1927, this rock collapsed, and now there is only a stone blockage.
A staircase begins among the stones, where you can climb to the top of the Diva. Diva Rock has a beautiful sloping shape. Its height reaches 51 meters. At the top there is a small viewing point with beautiful views of the Black Sea coast. Simeiz Park is located to the north. Above the park, the main architectural sights of the village the Villa Xenia and the Villa Dream are visible. You can see above the mountain range of the Yalta Yayla, which is part of the Yalta Nature Reserve. To the south of the rock is Mount Koshka. The village of Katsiveli is located behind it.
A suspension bridge is stretched between the Panea Rock and the Diva Rock. The fans of extreme entertainment can walk for a fee at an altitude of more than 30 meters above the Simeiz Beach and stone rubble. A similar attraction has existed for many years on Ai-Petri Mountain, where you can walk from the edge of the mountain plateau to the teeth of Ai-Petri over a cliff of several hundred meters.
