Dzerzhinsky public garden is the largest Park in the historical center of Omsk. The Vrubel art Museum is also located here. Once there was a Market square, but in 1944, it was decided to create a Park.

In the center of Dzerzhinsky public garden in 1958, a three-tiered fountain in the form of a vase was built. In 2015, for the 300th anniversary of Omsk, the square was completely restored. In many places, monuments and sculptures are installed, trees and flowers are planted. In winter, the square hosts an exhibition of ice sculptures.
