Honey waterfalls are located in the Alikonovsky Gorge, which was laid in the Rocky Mountain Range by the Alikonovka River. There are 5 waterfalls in total. Three of them are cascading. They are located on the Alikonovka River. These waterfalls are called Pearl, Hidden and Noisy. You need to go down to them inside the canyon. Pearl Waterfall has a height of 6 meters. It is the most powerful in the cascade of waterfalls of the Alikonovka River.
The other two waterfalls are formed by the Echki-Bash River. The waters of this river fall from above into the canyon of the Alikonovka River, forming two high Honey waterfalls. They are called the Big and Small Honey Waterfalls. The height of the Big Honey Waterfall reaches 18 meters.
The slopes of the canyon of the Alikonovka River are dotted with small grottoes, holes and depressions. Bees used to live in them, that`s why Honey Waterfalls got that name. Because of several cold winters, the bees left these lands, but the name of the waterfalls remained.
