Imerovigli Village

Imerovigli is not just a picturesque village, but a place with an interesting history. Its name translates from Greek as "day shift" or "day watch." And this is no coincidence: in the 13th century, when Santorini was under Venetian rule, a powerful fortress was built on top of Skaros Rock.
