Konnos beach is located in a very picturesque Bay, in the northern part of the National Park of Kavo Greco. The water is perfectly clear and azure, so the beach is deservedly one of the best beaches in Cyprus. Many people come here on small yachts and ships to swim in this Bay.

Protaras is located 5 kilometers north of Konnos Bay beach. The trip by car will take no more than 7-8 minutes. Despite the fact that Protaras itself has magnificent beaches, many people come to swim here.

From Ayia Napa to Konnos Bay beach is not much longer – only 8 kilometers (10 minutes by car). This makes Konnos Bay beach a very popular destination. At the height of the season, it can be crowded. Keep it in mind if your priority is to relax in the quiet nature of a National Park.

The beach in Konnos Bay is covered with white sand. It is fully equipped. There are umbrellas, sun beds, cafes and everything you need for a comfortable rest on beach. You can come here for the whole day.

The entrance to the sea is flat, so many people come here with children. There are picturesque rocks in the water to the left of the beach, so it is fun to snorkel and explore the sea floor. Here, people like to take photos, as the water near the rocks has the most beautiful shades.

In addition to swimming on the beach, you can take a walk in the picturesque surroundings of the Kavo Greco Park. To the south the trail leads to the chapel of Agio Anargyroi. This is a beautiful chapel built on a rocky shore in the traditional Greek blue and white colors. From the chapel, a path leads down to the shore, where there is a small cave. According to legend, saints Cosmas and Domian lived there during their stay in Cyprus. From the high shore, where the trail passes, you can admire the picturesque Bay and its beautiful azure water.

If you go northeast from Konnos beach, you can walk to the Cyclops Cave. This is a fictitious name, as well as all the other Cave of Pirates and Cave of the Mermaids. The cave has nothing to do with the Cyclops Polyphemus from Odyssey, but a walk to it on the rocky shore will be very pleasant. You will enjoy beautiful views, secluded coves and azure water.
