Lake Svetloye

Lake Svetloye (Light) is one of the quarries where marble was extracted. From the side of the Italian Quarry, the shore of Lake Svetloye is littered with spent marble rock, which was rejected during mining. The dump of huge stone blocks looks very picturesque. They rise above the shore for several tens of meters. All the marble blocks have typical traces of drilling machines.
