London Eye

The history of the London Eye is full of drama. Initially it was merely one of the competition projects for the Millennium celebrations, and its authors did not even win the competition. It was planned to be dismantled after five years. It was built by a married couple of architects who were refused by almost twenty banks. And today it is an integral part of the London skyline, visited by more than three and a half million people every year.
