The small resort of Nebug is located 15 kilometers west of Tuapse, on the highway leading from Dzhubga to Sochi. The highway runs along a high rocky shore, where the buildings of the Molniya-Yamal sanatorium are visible. Guests of this sanatorium go down to the beach by elevators, which rise above the mountain gorge. Below you can see the slides of one of the largest water parks on the Black Sea.
Like all the resort villages of the Caucasian coast, Nebug stretches along the bed of the Nebug River. The width of the narrow gorge is less than 1 kilometer, and the village stretches for 3 kilometers in length. Signal Mountain (311 m) rises above the village of Nebug. A few kilometers from the village, two more mountains are visible: Wheat (471 m) and Bald (821 m). The famous Kiselyov Rock is located 13 kilometers east of the village of Nebug. An excursion to the Kiselev Rock is a mandatory item in the tourist recreation program in the village of Nebug. The route to the Nebug waterfalls is also quite popular. They are located 13 km from the village at the foot of Mount Bald.
The pebble beach near the Nebug River is very spacious. It is covered with small pebbles. The beach stretches for 1.5 kilometers on both sides of the Nebug riverbed. Part of the beach belongs to sanatoriums and access there is limited, but the beach, open to everyone, is spacious enough.
Despite the small size of the village, it has a Dolphinarium "Aquamir" and a water park "Dolphin". They are among the largest on the Caucasian coast of the Black Sea. Tourists come here from all the surrounding villages, as well as from Tuapse. Since 2007, the Ice Palace has been hosting guests in Nebug.
The buildings of the Yamal sanatorium on the high bank in the village of Nebug were laid in the late 1980s, but it received its first guests only in 1995. Gazprom built it for its employees as one of the most fashionable resorts on the Black Sea. From these buildings of the Yamal sanatorium to the sea, you can go down by elevators. From the upper platforms of the elevators there is a beautiful panoramic view of the village of Nebug, low mountains and the river that flows in a mountain gorge.
In 2008, another sanatorium building was built in the lower part of the village, which was named Lightning, and the sanatorium itself is now called Lightning-Yamal. This sanatorium offers its guests an all-inclusive vacation format that is not the most common on the Black Sea. There are swimming pools, spa complexes, restaurants and nightclubs on the territory. The village of Nebug, despite its small size, can offer all kinds of entertainment for tourists who like to relax in the closed areas of the hotel.
