The valley of the Tseydon River is sandwiched between the Tsey Mountain Range from the north and Mount Monk from the south. Along this valley there is a trekking trail from the Tsey Alpine Camp to the Tsey Glacier. Its length from the ENERCOM base is 3.5 kilometers. Most of the trail passes through a dense coniferous forest.

The length of the entire Tsey Gorge is 15 kilometers from the village of Buron, to the lower tongues of the Tsey glacier. In the upper reaches, the gorge is divided into two branches by Mount Monk. These two branches form the famous Tsey Horseshoe. The Tsey Glacier hangs over the northern branch and the Tseydon River flows out of it, and the Skazsky Glacier hangs over the southern branch and the Skazdon River flows out of it. At the foot of Mount Monk, both rivers merge.

In the lower part of the valley of the Tseydon River, huge pine trees rise above the riverbed. The highest Wilpata Mountain (4649 m) is visible almost from the beginning of the trail. Then you will see it at every turn. The rocky mountains of the Tseysky mountain range rise above the valley. Their height exceeds 3000 meters. As you approach Wilpata Mountain, other four-thousand-meter peaks will appear: Changchahi (4462 m), Songuti (4460 m) and Tsepkhoh (4139 m).

These mountains, a stormy river and a dense forest create a magnificent ecosystem of the Tsey Gorge. It attracts with the beauty of untouched nature and clean air. The climb on the trekking trail in the valley of the Tseydon River is 320 meters, but it is gradual over the entire distance, so the trail is not difficult even for untrained people.

The valley of the Tseydon River ends near the Tsey Glacier, which descends into the valley between the Adai-Hoh and Wilpata mountains. In summer, you can come close to the glacier to see its beautiful blue grottoes. In winter, these small trails are littered with snow, so you can only see the Tsey Glacier from afar.
