Start your tour at the Vatican Pinacoteca. Here are collected masterpieces of masters of the Renaissance. After that, go to the Pio-Clementino Museum, where there is an interesting collection of Greek and Roman sculptors.
Then go to the Gregorian Egyptian Museum, where you can get acquainted with the culture of Ancient Egypt and see the works of art of that era. After that, go out to the courtyard of the Vatican, which is called the Courtyard of Pinia.
From the courtyard, enter the buildings where there are rooms of several Popes, over the decoration of which the great artists of the Renaissance worked. The Borgia apartments were painted by Penturicchio and Perugino (Raphael's teacher). Stanza di Raphaello are 4 rooms of Pope Julius II, which were painted by Raphael. The Sistine Chapel was painted by Michelangelo.
