The pillars are located very compactly in the Central district. The two symbols of the Krasnoyarsk Stolby Nature Reserve – the pillars Feathers and Ded – are just in this district. Near them you can less known, but no less beautiful pillars.

When there was no cable railway in the Bobrovy Log fan park, to the Central District it was necessary to climb through the Laletinsky Post from the highway running along the Yenisei. You need to go pretty steep uphill for six kilometers, and along this road there are no tourist attractions. Today it is much easier to go up to the Bobrovy Log fun park and then go the same distance along the rocky ridge, admiring the magnificent mountain views of the Krasnoyarsk Stolby.

Turning right from the upper cable railway station and going 2.7 kilometers you will come to Stolbovskaya Vidovka. This is a scenic viewpoint where you can have beautiful views of many pillars. The Greshnik (sinner) pillar is just near this Vidovka, and then after about every 500 meters you will come across various pillars: Мotylyok (moth), Kashtakovsky parovozhy (steam engines), Vodopoi (watering point), Pervenets (firstborn), Predtecha (forerunner).

Near the Fourth and Third pillars, you should turn to the Feathers pillar, which is 500 meters to the north. The Lvinnyj vorota ("Lions Gate"), which is no less photogenic pillar, is next to it. Be sure to find a stone stuck between two rocks, which forms this gate. Near the Feathers there is a low pillar with a layered structure, which you can climb to admire the magnificent views of the Siberian taiga.

The famous Ded is 500 meters north of the Feathers. The pillars Babka (Grandma) and Praded (Great-Grandfather), Vnuk (Grandson), and Dikar (Savage) are near it. The Savage is not the highest pillar, but from it you can have very beautiful views of other pillars. The pass where the road begins running to the Laletinsky Post and further to the Yenisei is quite near the Savage. It is not as difficult to go down 6 km as go up the same distance.

A large number of pillars is located south of the the Ded, but you can hardly visit also the main pillars (Feathers, Praded, Lvinnyj vorota, etc.) and those that are located south of the Praded for daylight hours, as you still have to take into account the return journey. The distance from the Manskaya Baba or the Petushok (Cockerel) (southern pillars) to the cable railway of the Bobrovy Log fun park is 10 kilometers and this is a very rough terrain with steep descents and ascents. But at the same time, we must admit that the Manskaya Baba is also very beautiful and unusual.
