The City Garden is in the immediate vicinity of the Catherine’s Square and the Host Cathedral. In Soviet times it was called the Gorky Park and before that the Host Garden. There are many alleys, amusement rides, fountains and recreation places at the big garden.
The City Garden was created in 1848. It is the oldest park in Krasnodar. There are many amusement rides and cafes in the north of the park. It is just there that the city’s highest ferris wheel is located. Its height is 57 meters. Many people, especially with children, always walk there.
Very picturesque ponds, fountains, as well as the Rotunda and the Sculpture of the Good Angel of Peace are in the south of the park. People come to the ponds of the park for recreation or a small picnic.
