Mount Levitan in Ples

Mount Levitan rises above the Volga river in the Eastern part of the Ples. Perhaps this is one of the most picturesque places in the Ples. On the top of the mountain, there is a wooden Church of the Resurrection and a monument to the artist Isaac Levitan, who glorified Ples in his paintings.
