Trullo Casa Lippolis is one of the largest in Alberobello. It consists of 15 connected huts with a spacious courtyard. Now it houses the exhibition of the Museum House Pezzolla.

Vitonofrio Lippolis was the first archpriest of the Church in Alberobello. He built this house in the 18th century. In 1796, seven people gathered in this house, who wanted to free the city from the oppression of the counts of Aquaviva and get official status of the city.

As soon as the decree granting Alberobello the status of a free city was issued, Francesco Giuseppe Lippolis, a descendant of the first Archpriest, was elected the first mayor.

The House Pezzolla Museum is dedicated to the history, architecture and culture of the Silva area in Apulia. In the Middle Ages, impenetrable forests grew here, but the counts of Aquaviva attracted farmers here, thanks to them there were cultivated fertile fields, olive and fruit orchards. In the 17th century, they founded the city of Alberobello.
