The Park of the Tchaikovsky memorial house in Klin occupies about a hectare. The composer emphasized in all his letters that he needed to be close to the Russian nature and quiet for inspiration. All this he received at his home in Klin.

The Park was laid out in the 70s of the 19th century, that is, 20 years before Tchaikovsky rented this house. From those times there remained an alley of lime trees, lots of birch trees and lilac bushes. Tchaikovsky`s favorite flowers were lilies of the valley. Modest Ilyich Tchaikovsky also planted in the garden of roses, begonias, gillyflowers, phloxes, sweet tobacco, and in early summer, the blooming bluebells. These flowers still grow in the garden today.

In 1958, during the 1st international Tchaikovsky competition, an oak tree was planted in the Park. Now it is already quite large. A plate next to the tree reads: "This oak was planted as the gift of love from musicians around the world by the American conductor Leopold Stokowski in 1958."

In the Park there is a monument to Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky, where he sits on a bench and reads the sheet music. This monument was made in 2006 by the Moscow sculptor Alexander Rozhnikov.
