Seaside Boulevard is the most beautiful street of Baku. It starts at the foot of the Nagorny Park, near the cableway terminal. From that point it goes along the Icheri Sheher to the Port of Baku. It is about 5 kilometers long, but there are some plans of its significant extension.

Actually, Seaside Boulevard is an embankment stretching along the Bay of Baku of the Caspian Sea, but it will be more correctly to call it a recreation area in the most beautiful place of Baku. The width of the embankment alone is about 30 meters, but there are also walking alleys, canals, cafes, and the other establishments.

The most beautiful stretch of Seaside Boulevard is between the Nagorny (Upper) Park and the Governor`s Garden (Azneft Square). At the funicular terminal you can visit the Carpet Museum, and it will be interesting enough considering that Azerbaijan and Iran have the most ancient traditions of carpet weaving.

At the landing near the Carpet Museum you can take a boat and have a pleasant ride over the canals built on Seaside Boulevard. These canals are bordered by houses built in the Venetian style and spanned with small bridges. In other words, it is very beautiful there.

Seaside Boulevard stretches for several kilometers from Azneft Square to the Port of Baku. At the beginning it goes by the Icheri Sheher. The landmark of the city, the Maiden Tower is right on the embankment. Farther on you can see beautiful houses in the style of Empire on the Oilmen`s Avenue. Both the citizens and guests of the city like to walk on this boulevard.
