Leo Tolstoy public garden in Tula

There is a small but very cozy public garden of Leo Tolstoy at the southbound Lenin Street leading to Yasnaya Polyana. It is near the fine arts museum and Belousov Central Park of Culture and Leisure.

The monument to Leo Tolstoy was installed at the public garden by the 145th anniversary of his birth, which was celebrated in 1973. There are also small  steles with quotations from the works of Lev Tolstoy, as well as wooden characters of his fairy-tales in different places of the public garden.
