Victory Square

Victory Square is located on a small hill in the Lower Gunib near a rocky cliff. In the center of Victory Square in 1986, the monument "White Cranes" was erected. It is dedicated to 1,340 soldiers from the village of Gunib, who died during the WWII. The height of the stele reaches 27 meters. Sculptures of cranes flying into the sky are depicted on its top.
