Almaty Museum of Modern Art

In the autumn of 2025, an event took place in Almaty that cultural commentators called a new chapter in the history of not only the southern capital of Kazakhstan but the entire region: the Almaty Museum of Arts opened — the first and so far the only museum of contemporary art of international level in Central Asia.
