The city of Pushkin Hills is located in the south of the Pskov region. This is one of the most picturesque places in the north-west of Russia. In the 19th century, it was the estate of the great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin, as well as his relatives and friends. Here is also the Svyatogorsky monastery, where he is buried.
