The river Duden runs down from the high mountain range and falls into the Mediterranean Sea. In the east of Antalya, the river falls from a 50-meter high rock plate into the sea forming the Lower Duden Waterfall. It is quite rightly considered one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Turkey, although actually, it is among the buildings of Antalya.
The Duden is a full-flowing river, so the waterfall is very powerful and picturesque. The waterfall looks especially beautiful, if you approach it from the sea in the evening. At this time the sun sets in the sea and the waterfall is perfectly illuminated.
A small park area was created around the waterfall, as well as various observation decks. You can admire the waterfall and take pictures of it from the observation decks.
