Fountains Descent in Saransk

Fountains Descent stretches from the Soviet Square to the main entrance to the park named after А. S. Pushkin. The monument to the Great Russian poet is near the monument to the founders of Saransk in the center of the Descent.

The cascading fountains with flowerbeds are all along Fountains Descent. There are also three larger fountains. The Soviet Square with the monument to Lenin is on the upper side of the Descent. The Lenin Public Garden is behind the monument to Lenin.
