Agora is the central market square. As is known, Side had one of the largest slave markets in the Mediterranean and it was located just on the agora. There were legends about the beauty of the slaves who were sold there. Also, on the agora there were held all the activities relating to the life of the city, its management.

The agora square is near the north wall of the amphitheater. From the west it is approached by a street with columns leading to the northern city gate. Nearby is the descent to the sea.

The agora is square. Previously, in the center of it there was a fountain dedicated to the goddess Fortuna. Near the slope of the hill, which adjoins the agora, a wall with a colonnade is preserved.
