Ethnographic Park-Museum Ethnomir is located 120 km from Moscow on the border of the Moscow and Kaluga regions. It is the largest open-air ethnographic museum in Russia. On the territory of 140 hectares, not only ethnic courtyards of Russia, but also other regions of the world have been created.

It is impossible to see all the exhibits in one day, so it is better to go to the Ethnomir for 2-3 days. Ethnomir Park was created in 2007 on the initiative of Ruslan Bayramov. Borovsk is located nearby. 10 km from Ethnomir Park is the Paphnutiev Borovsky Monastery, which can also be visited during the trip.

Several ethnographic courtyards dedicated to the cultures of various regions of the world have been created in the Ethnomir Park. They are buildings built in authentic archaeological styles. Hotels and museums are located in them. Here you can stay in hotels of all categories, from premium to inexpensive guest houses.

On a large territory in the western part of the park there are farmsteads of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. More than 20 wooden houses are located next to each other. There are museums "Ukraine", "Belarus", as well as the Museum of the Russian Oven. In the center of this museum there is a huge oven, and around it there are 9 wooden houses built in the Russian style. There are three hotels on the territory of these ethnic courtyards: Ukraine, Belarus and Podvorye. The Derbent restaurant is located nearby.

On the eastern side of Ethnomir Park there are hotels and ethnographic courtyards made in the style of Asian regions: Sri Lanka, India, Nepal, Himalayan House, Central Asia, East Asia, Southeast Asia, Australia and Oceania. There is a cultural center of India, many monuments to the sages and great people of Asia. The Sri Lanka building houses a spa center and the most expensive hotel in the Ethnomir. There are hotels and restaurants almost all buildings of Asian courtyards.

A long building stretches along the parking lot for several hundred meters. In the center there is the entrance to the territory of the Ethnomir, and on the sides there are various restaurants and museums. There are exhibition halls of all continents, as well as the Museum of the USSR. They host exhibitions and master classes. On the inside of this building you can see various types of decoration of facades of wooden houses. Inside this building there is a Peace Square, where there are about 15 monuments to great inventors and writers: Leo Tolstoy, Mark Twain, Alfred Nobel, Nikola Tesla, Leonardo da Vinci, William Shakespeare, Mother Teresa and many others. Many monuments have been installed throughout the vast territory of the Ethnomir Park.

In the far part of the ethnographic park Ethnomir there is a farmstead of the peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East. This is an open-air museum, where on the territory of 2 hectares you can see several dozen houses and huts of various small peoples of the North and Siberia.

The Ethnomir Park Museum is not only a museum. It is a venue for various ethnographic festivals, concerts and holidays. Folk holidays are especially widely celebrated here, such as New Year and Shrovetide (seeing off winter).

Every summer, children have a rest here in the camp or come here on special educational tours. The organizers conduct educational excursions, organize various contests, master classes of various crafts. Here you can learn baking, soap making, wood carving and dozens of other professions and crafts.

On the territory there is a Siberian husky nursery and many different attractions for children. For small children there is a small Fort Ross maze, and for adults there is a Jungle Maze. It is a hinged wooden walkway among a dense forest. The length of these paths is several hundred meters and for many it is really difficult to find a way out of the maze. Next to the maze is the Evolution Dinosaur Park. Dinosaur figures are installed in the forest on a large territory. They move and make sounds.
